Claire Hughes

Claire Hughes is a 2023 graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law. While at SLU Law, she participated in various criminal and civil legal clinics and trial advocacy programs. Claire received her undergraduate degree in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama in 2020, where she taught Public Speaking, made the President’s List every semester, and graduated in three years as a Red Mortarboard Recipient, an honor given at the university to seniors who graduate with a 4.0 or higher GPA. Claire was admitted to the Missouri Bar in 2023 and began her career as a prosecutor, handling trial and probation cases for a variety of violent crimes and gaining extensive courtroom experience. Having managed multiple dockets and a varied caseload, she successfully argued probation revocation hearings and tried multiple jury and bench trials to verdict, both individually and as part of a team of attorneys.
